The Italian National Open Access Workshop will be held in Rome on 29th January 2013, at the National Research Council. The workshop is part of the project activities of MedOANet (Mediterranean Open Access Network, http://www.medoanet.eu)

The workshop will involve stakeholders, research funders and universities representatives in order to discuss legal, technological, cultural and economic challenges of setting up a policy on Open Access in Italian Universities and Research Institutions.
